Reporting is not advice

What we publish is journalism. It is not accounting, tax, legal or technical advice, and it is not a substitute for the vendor's own documentation or for a professional who knows your situation. Software behaviour changes between versions, editions and regions, and a report accurate on its publication date may not describe what you are running today.

Do not act on a story here in a way that risks live data. In particular, nothing here should be treated as a repair procedure - we deliberately do not publish those.
